Q: What is unique about Precision Technology?
A: First, we have a very complete line of products encompassing fillers, stains, sealers, finishes and maintenance products. Our R & D has focused specifically on technically advanced, user-friendly products. We have every technology of finish available, depending on job requirements. Second, all of Precision’s products are manufactured in the USA.
Q: Are Precision’s products readily available in different geographic areas?
A: Yes. Precision enjoys strategic partnerships with key distributors and dealers in most major markets. Additionally, because of our rapid, yet stable growth, we continue to establish new partnerships in target areas. For more information, please contact Precision directly.
Q: Are Precision’s products competitive technologically with comparable products in the market?
A: Yes. Our market strategy from day one has been to compete in every category with company or product leaders in the marketplace. In many cases, we are able to exceed competitor’s product performance through the use of advanced methods, innovative product engineering and high quality formulations and raw materials.
Q: Where do your products fit cost-wise?
A: Precision’s products are very competitive in the industry. Additional value is gained due to their ease of application, outstanding performance and end-user satisfaction.
Q: Will your products perform well with every species of wood available?
A: With such a large variety of species of wood available today, it is difficult to make such a blanket statement. With the use of exotic woods especially, our recommendation is that compatibility and adhesion testing take place prior to the actual job. Technical questions should be directed to Precision’s technical department.
Q: Can your products be roller-applied?
A: In many cases, yes. We are currently conducting testing of all products to determine their ability to be roller applied since this is fast becoming another viable application alternative. Specific questions should be forwarded to our technical department.
Q: Are Precision’s products freeze/thaw stable?
A: Yes. However, we strongly recommend that no Precision product be allowed to freeze. There is, however, a ‘3 cycle’ stability characteristic which potentially allows for any of our products to be frozen and thawed on 3 separate occasions. If frozen, it is imperative that the product is allowed to thaw naturally back to room temperature.
